You need an invite code to use the app. Ask the person who invited you. Please don't share your code.
How to install
- Tap Download for Android, then open the downloaded file.
- Android may say your browser isn't allowed to install apps. Tap Settings, allow it for this one install, then go back.
- If Play Protect warns that the app is from an unknown developer, tap More details, then Install anyway. The app is shared directly, not through the Play Store.
- Open the app and enter your invite code.
- When asked, allow access to SMS. The app uses it to read your MoMo messages.
Android 13 or newer: if the SMS permission is greyed out, open Settings → Apps → MoMo Messages Analyzer, tap the ⋮ menu, choose Allow restricted settings, then allow SMS.
What happens to your messages
- The app reads only messages from the sender M-Money, and keeps what it understands from them in a small database on your phone.
- Names of people and shops found in your messages are replaced with codes before anything leaves your phone, and turned back into names when the answer arrives. What you type in a question is sent as you wrote it, so a name you type in full is replaced, but a partial name may go as typed.
- To answer you, your question and the amounts, dates and message types that match it are sent over HTTPS to an AI service. Phone numbers and the text of your messages are not sent.
- The server stores a record of which invites and devices exist and how many questions each used. It does not store your messages or questions.
